Although we have been given the ratio between x and y, we were not given a value for either, therefore the sum of the two integers cannot be determined from this information.

X+Y= 9k+7k=16k
But k can be 1 which gives 16
K can be 1/8 which gives 2
Similarly others
Options A,C are possible, even with other values ok k more values are possible
Hence we don't get a unique value
So E is the answer

Exact answer is not available however if Check the table of 4 so
4*9 = 36
4*7 = 28

So the answer is 64 which close to 63 so this could be the answer but the exact answer is not available.
