In the diagram below, AB and CD are parallel to each other and XY is perpendicular to AB. What is the measure of ∠AXL?

(1) The measure of ∠YLM is thrice the measure of ∠LXB.
(2) ∠BXL = ∠AXK

Statemen 1. Let angle BXL =y. Then angle ylm =3y. And since ab is parallel to cd, therefore angle BXL and angle YLM sum to 180 degrees. Therefore y+3y=180. We can calculate y an thus angle AXL is 3y degrees.

Statement 2 is it sufficient.
