Re: Interview for the Chicago GSB PT [#permalink]
The interview is nothing out of the ordinary

standard questions-
Why MBA?
Why Chicago?
What do you want to do with a MBA?
Describe your job progression?

my was more like a conversation, not really a interview

https://www.accepted.com has a great database of interview recaps, I used that.

I second that - the interview was very relaxed and the interviewer was very friendly and helpful. Just make sure that you get there well ahead of time because if you are driving then downtown Chicago traffic can be bad. Also if you are driving, make sure that you park at the AMC parking lot on 300 East Illinois and get your parking ticket validated at the Gleacher Center - you will save a lot of money.

Re: Interview for the Chicago GSB PT [#permalink]
I had my interview with a recent alum at the Gleacher center yesterday.
It was more of a conversation than a interview per-se.

The interviewer started with his background and asked the following questions:
1. Walk me through resume.
2. Why MBA?

Then he opened the floor for questions and we started discussing a few things, wherein he then asked me:
3. Why Chicago?
4. What courses and groups specifically will help me achieve my goals.

We then again talked for a few more minutes. It lasted about 30-35 minutes and I came out feeling good.

I then went and grabbed a beer with Rhyme. :)

Great advice posted on this board!

Of those who have already interviewed, have you heard back from the school? How long does it take to get a reply once you complete your interview (assuming your application is complete)? Thanks! :)
