In my preparation I was consistently scoring in the mid 600s, and then suddenly I do the real exam today and on my first attempt I get a 700 score!!!
My prep experience can only be characterized by math struggles. I think I did not review verbal for longer than 2-3 hours in total, yet I scored 97th percentile. Yet the math, I spent a good 2 months studying, only to score 62nd percentile (a good 10 percentiles lower than my prep scores too!)
I'm not really sure how that can average out to a 700 score. Doesn't it seem too high considering my math was so low? In either case I want to thank this forum (even though I was hardly vocal) as it was my primary resource for math preparation and overall motivation for my exam.
Just to let you know, the GMAT predictor here was 100% accurate for me (unbelievable actually). I scored 680 as my highest on GMAT prep, 650 on Manhattan and I was predicted to get 700 on the real exam. This indeed happened! Good job with that application, you must be doing something right!
On that note cheers and best of luck to everyone!
