Yah I just got it, I wasn't even expecting it cause after the interview the adcom just said decisions would be released some time in mid-january and I thought all the schools called us. Not complaining though, lol

Hey!

I applied R2 to Tuck and Stern and have yet to even get a confirmation e-mail from either. Is that normal? It's got me a little worried....

Hi Ruthie,

Welcome to the Consortium community. I can speak for Tuck and probably for Stern as well even though I didn't apply. Expect Tuck to add you to their system a week to two weeks prior to decision time (unless you have been invited to interview in which case it may differ). Stern has been generally non responsive on this forum for one reason or another.

Good luck, please join our roll call by adding Consortium to your schools and let us know if you have any further questions.

have any rd 2 folks received confirmation from consortium that their apps were forwarded to schools or received log in information from individual schools (hence confirming that consortium forwarded their apps)?

i applied rd 2, but haven't heard a peep from anyone - consortium or otherwise..... :|

I applied round 1 and it took Stern just over 2 weeks to confirm that they received the app. Hope this helps!

I applied round 2 and haven't heard anything either. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think they send out a confirmation email once your application has been forwarded to the schools. The way I understand it is you will just receive login information from the schools directly once they have processed your application.

I received an email from the consortium telling me my apps were sent out and I immediately heard from Yale and Emory. They both sent me login info, and acknowledged they had all of my stuff. But that's about it and I did apply RD2

i'm all green on my VIP page and i sent my scores when i took the GMAT.... i guess it's just a matter of them not getting to my application yet.

Yeah, I'm in the same exact boat. VIP page says everything is green and I put the Consortium down whenever I took my GMAT.

I feel like I was in the middle of a race with a lot of momentum, almost to the finish line and someone told me to stop, wait a few months and then finish.

the only confirmation I got was from Consortium and Michigan. still waiting to hear from the 2 other schools I applied through CGSM.

I was rd 2 also. I applied after the deadline in EST but before the deadline in PST so I was nervous I didn't make it.
Luckily 3 days later I got an email from consortium saying they were reviewing my app and once they determined it was complete, they would send it on to my schools.
Tuesday I got an email and login from Yale saying they were viewing my app.
And today I got the same thing from NYU
I still haven't heard back from the other 4 though.

so i guess it just depends on who has what batch of applications... i submitted mine a day early, but only received an email from the consortium saying my application has been successfully submitted.

for my own sanity, i probably need to limit the amount of times per day i check these boards. i think once i receive an email confirming my application is out and about, i'll be able to relax (a little)

kudos to the round 1 folks - i don't know how you all survived/are surviving... this whole waiting game is not good for my morale

I sent my app in on 1/4 and got notification from consortium on 1/6.

You have no idea buddy. I walked into work this morning and my coworker says, "You look like hell, how much sleep are you getting? You need to take a day off man."

Totally feel you on the unplugging yourself from the matrix (this forum). I'm not trying to get grey hair until after b-school (and really not then either).

Ditto! :P I don't think other schools even send confirmation emails that they received your application. I don't expect to hear from every one of them.

Haven't heard from Darden and Tuck.
