I started preparing around this Christmas, doing mostly OG12 math and verbal.
Practice test:
Kaplan diagnostic test: 650
Kaplan 1: 560
GmatPrep1: 640
Gmat prep2 650
I took the GMAT on 21st April 2012, and scored 600. I was a little disapointed because I felt that I could get more around 640-650,, but I did not manage my time right in Verbal so I had to skip whole RC with 5-6 question.
After this attempt I bought Manhatan SC, Verbal Review OG12 and bought
GMATclub tests, but I wanted to focuse more on Verbal because I knew I could do much better. Back in 2003. i took the Gmat and scored Q36 but V 41 so I felt I can repeat this.
I took few GMAT prep tests in a last few days and scored from 650-700 (saw few repeats) , verbal from 33-40
I took the GMAT today. Math much harder than the last time, but for Verbal do not know what to say. I just could not keep focus, I could not start attacking SC and CR-s. When I do CR-a for a training in at least 50% i know what anwer will be because I can find a flaws and assumptions while reading. On the test however I did not have such experiences.
SC-s were disaster, hardest I have ever seen, RCs with at least 2-3 answers very close to each other. I can tell you for sure that test that I did today is not the GMAT i have studied and took a month ago at least in the verbal part. I have never scored below 33 in verbal, so 20!!! is redicolous
Please help me, I am afraid to retake it again, I am felling I am going to make 400 next time
btw sorry because of my unstructured post but I spent 4,5 hours in a test center, i dont have strenght to write anything
