My interview is on the 22nd - the last date of interviews. So wont be able to help. When is your interview and how are you preparing for it? I am planning to review game theory and investments.

I have my interview on the 21st. Could you tell me about your background? Are you from an economics or finance background? I have a maths background so am revising some specific areas in that plus reading stuff about some economics concepts. Could you tell me some important things which I should read about in finance, keeping in mind that I haven't studied much finance till now. Are you from the UK ? In general, are you aware of the sort of technical questions questions they have been asking this year?

Probability and maximization problems would be my guess. But I haven't had my interview jet so it's pure speculation. The standard book for finance would be Hulls "options futures and other derivatives", I guess. Considering your mathematical background "Paul Wilmott introduces Quantitative Finance" could also be a good read for you. But those books have their focus on derivatives and you will learn almost nothing about portfolio theory and nothing about valuation.

Guys, help me please!
I thought about mfe program for a long time. But is it possible for anybody without pure economics and mathematic background to go through selection process?
My background is management, for example, I had no problem with mathematic, but I am really concerned with my perspectives if I decide to apply on this program.
And second question is quiet stupid, but ... is it true about so technical interview? Because, for example, MIT ms in finance has a pretty easy, "soft" interview, as I heard.
