I was studying for the GMAT for 8 months before I stopped studying for this summer. I was burnt out and really just wanted to enjoy the summer and take my mind off of the test for a few months. I deserve the break! I plan to jump back into the groove in September and try to take the test in October. I really just want to take the test and move on. I was pressuring myself for months and months trying to get higher on my practice tests and regretting not just taking the real test in the Spring when everything was fresh.
Any good ideas on how to get re-motivated to study again? I have to say, studying for the test over those 8 months was one of the worst experiences of my life; I really burnt myself out. I was scoring low 600s when i was at my best and mid 600s is my target. I am starting to review some of the material again and feel like I have lost some of the conceptual knowledge and the speed. Would anyone recommend starting out again just doing
MGMAT drills in the foundations book then moving onto the practice tests and
OG once the summer is over? I just want to get my mind fresh and working again so when I do jump back into it, I am ready. Any ideas?
