Work Experience: 43 months. 3 years experience in Software QA and 8+ months as a Business Analyst with leading software services firm
As a QA Engineer at Honeywell, my client was Bank of America - I was responsible for validation of security panels and a supported software
As a business analyst, I have worked in Finance module - AP, AR, and General Ledger for a US manufacturing giant
Currently on a long break for personal reasons.
Why MSF? My goal is to work in the areas of Enterprise Risk and Finance - handling business transformation projects in the Financial services domain. I am looking to leverage my IT experience and further my knowledge in Finance.
My concerns?
1. Would my break really matter (around 3 years) for MS program- I can explain the reason. I have been taking online courses in coursera in Risk Management and Quantitative Methods in Finance.
2. I satisfy the prerequisites for MSF (Accounting, Micro and Macro economics, and corporate finance) for some MSF programs.
3. I am confused between Villanova and Vanderbilt. Which one would be a better option to me given my background and experience. Do I have any other choices apart from Villanova/Vanderbilt?
4. I am not really particular about IB career as I am interested in Enterprise Risk/Finance IT systems implementation in a consulting role.
Please evaluate my profile. This is really important for me as I have to meet the deadlines.
