Trying to decide if I should go to business school...

I originally started undergrad as a Business Major, however, I wound up transferring to another University where some of my math credits didn't transfer over properly. Instead of going to college for 5 years and graduating with a Major in Business I decided to major in Poly Sci and minor in business in 4 years. I really enjoyed my business classes, however.
After graduating in 2010 and working in various fields, now in the nonprofit world, I've been thinking about going back to school and getting an MBA. I guess I'm thinking about going for an MBA in the fall of 2017, as applications are mostly due this fall for 2016, and I haven't begun to study for the GMAT. My dad has suggested that perhaps I take a class to refresh my memory a little, and help me decide if I do indeed want to commit the time and money to go back to school.
Is there any advise, process, and/or class suggestions that anyone has to help me decide if biz school is right for me? My main interest is marketing. Is there a good online class that anyone knows of that would be a good class to take to get me feet wet again? I suppose taking an actual class at a University here in D.C. would be the best idea, but i believe most classes start next week. What's the best way to get in touch with a biz school professor? Should I just contact a schools admissions department to ask questions? Are there any good meetup groups in cities that would have people for me to talk to about this?
Any information is helpful, thanks.
