I am not sure if any of you faced this situation already or posted this issue already on this forum. This is what happened to me today at Pearson testing center in Sanjose, CA.

If you are not a US Citizen and want to take the GMAT exam you need to carry your passport. Your driving license is not enough for indentification purposes.

Today I went casually and 1/2 hr before the exam test admin asked me to get my passport. So I had to comeback home to get it.
It seems its the new rule starting 2006 and the test admin told me that lot of Indians are being asked to go back because of this issue.

Thanks for the update. I was under the impression that international students always needed passports as identification.

Yes I knew that as well, could one could easily assume that driving license would be enough. Thanks for the tip

The information is really helpful. My house is far from the test center and i cannot even dream of coming back home and getting the passport. Thanks a lot once again.
