Total number of passwords = number of 4 character password +number of 5 character password
= 62^4 + 62^5 (Since there is no limitation on repetition , each character can be chosen in 62 ways )
=62^4(1+ 62)
=62^4 * 63

ADDED THE OPTION OF CREATING KEYS with 5 CHARS
Total: 4CHAR + 5CHAR Keys
Total: 62^4 + 62^5 = 62^4(1+62) = 63(62^4)

Has case sensitiveness any role to play in this question. Per this each option character has two choice higher case or lower case. Please help me out.

26 letters lowercase
10 digits (0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9)
total=52+10=62
