A very simple approach taken by me

----------------------------Workers--------Work (chairs)-------Time(days)
Given-------------------------4-------------------20------------------5

Per day-----------------------4--------------------4-------------------1
Increase workers------------8--------------------8-------------------1
Increase days--------------- 8-------------------80------------------10

Hence, 8 workers can make 80 chairs in 10 days.

Important to know variation and the relationship among variables.
For example - If time decreases then work done decreases, given workers are same, If workers are increased then work done increases, given time is the same, If time is increased then work done increases, given workers are same.

Correct me if I have gone wrong somewhere :)

\(M_1*D_1*W_2 = M_2*D_2*W_1\)

Or, \(4*5*W_2 = 8*10*20\)

Or, \(W_2 = 80\) , Answer must be (C)

The rate of 4 carpenters is 20/5 = 4 chairs per day. Thus, the rate of 8 carpenters is 4 x 2 = 8 chairs per day. So in 10 days, 8 carpenters will make 8 x 10 = 80 chairs.

Answer: C
