Hi All.
Please if anyone has knowledge about this, advise on me.
I have scheduled my gmat at test center at certain date, however my country is in lockdown and test centers are closed, and it is quite uncertain when things going to be normal, therefore i am planning to take gmat online at my appointed date.
In case if i don't apply for 2021 intake, if i delay my application by one year, how school accept my gmat online exam score? Is it have some disadvantage over gmat at test center? Please advise! Thank you.

Hi junii,

At this point, Business Schools all seem fine with the concept of the At-home Exam - and no School or Program has voiced any major concerns about comparing that Score to a traditional result from a Test Facility. There's no way to know if that perspective might change in the future though. All things considered, if you are strong overall applicant who took the At-home GMAT (and scored well on it), then I would assume that a School would not "look down" on your application because of that.

Wouldn't be surprised if the Online GMAT becomes a permanent feature.

Hi junii,

As I have said many times, the online GMAT could not actually exist if it was to be looked at as "lesser than" in comparison to the in-person GMAT. Thus, I would not worry about applying in another year from now using your online GMAT score.
