Right there with you. And I'm not even that close to finding out my app results (except for one school).

Everyone I know who recently graduated from top b-schools drive beat up student cars and have asked me to seriously reconsider whether I need an MBA given my currently pleasant financial situation.

My Ferrari will have to wait...I am putting myself on the list.

you know you bring up an interesting point.. quite a few of my friends also said the same thing.. that given my current situation why do I need an MBA.. why dont i just star the venture and dont bother for an MBA..

But I think the mBA is going to benefit in the long run.

You simply can't go wrong buying a Honda Odyssey. Affordable, comfortable, and well built. Especially good with kids!

Happens to me too...I check my Yahoo e-mail a zillion times a day expecting the ever elusive Interview invites for my R1 apps. Every time the phone rings I'm hoping for the same. I try and leave early to get home and work on apps no matter what.

And at the same time I'm wondering whether I'm keeping things under control (just not shining) or screwing my performance beyond recognition and risking getting dinged before being admitted!

Anyways, the wait sucks. I can't honestly say I'll rather be dinged twice at my R1 choices than keep waiting. But at times I think about it...

Cheers. L.

Join the club. Especially now that Kellogg is making calls, every single time my phone rings I jump a little inside. The GSB sent out some random newsletter the other day and for a second when I saw it on my blackberry my heart stopped - I thought maybe it was Kellogg cause I was reading it so fast.

Every email, every phone call.... I find myself bringing my cell phone with my everywhere now - I used to leave it at my desk sometimes if I just went to grab a coffee, but now I find myself making sure I have it with me even when I'm in the bathroom.

It's going to be a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong wait till Dec 20 and Jan 8...

I'm thinking about stats, decision science, case studies, career fairs, student clubs, all-night study sessions, managing heavy debt, interviews, more interviews, even more interviews, slaving for a few years, persuading some venture capitalists to help me get this biz roaring....slaving some more..and finally, after the (future) kids trust funds are nice and secure and the mortgage is under control, I will go out and buy that 2015 Z06 vette... granted, I'll be over 40 at that point, but it's worth the wait.
