Yeah I think if I got in and went there, I would become a permanent west coaster - I love it out there

O C'mon. Judging from our performance in Rose Bowl, we're going to dominate next year (unless, of course, if the Reggie Bush snafu somehow cost us somehow).

Ahhh got my second wait list - not fun.

I have one school left to hear from and thats Kellogg so my hopes aren't too high right now but you never know. I pray the MBA gods smile upon me but it does not appear to be my year.

OasisNYK, never give up!!! Why don't you apply to some schools in round 3?
Btw, why you heard from the school so soon? Just about 2 weeks after the interview?

Don't forget that W/Ls can also be about yield management. Convince them you are interested and you should be fine.

Good luck. L.

I will probably send them a letter on Monday via fedex and I am gearing up to take the GMAT again - I am on 2 WL right now and one has asked for me to improve my GMAT score of 640 so I dont really have a choice.

Outside of that not much else I can do. I am sure I will get in to one of my 2 WL schools unless they overfill which is a possibility.

I just got an interview invite for Round 2. I was just on campus two weeks ago for a visit, but I'm nevertheless excited to be going back.

Peter-
I just interviewed last Monday. My interview was straightforward and actually very short. USC interviews blind so your interviewer will only have a copy of your resume. Honestly, there weren't any curveballs. The only atypical questions I remember were (1) describe a failure in your life and (2) if you could be on the cover of any magazine, what would it be?

Good Luck

Seems like everyone who interviewed at USC (or just the people I've talked to) gets the "magazine" question. I wish i'd visited/interviewed at USC, maybe I wouldn't have been waitlisted then.
