he got admit around 10 days back with full scholarship and GA

Yes. This is correct
And I was interviewed on Dec 24. The decision date was Feb 1 or Feb 2. Initially I was put on waitlist and they gave me final offer on February 28.

I stayed in touch with the Admissions director, Cara Sonnier. I kept apprising her about the certifications I was doing, about my promotion and also told her about the other offers I had. Since Cara was also my interviewer I had already conveyed to her why Terry is my first choice.
In the last week of February she again forwarded my application to adcom with the additional inputs and they gave me admission offer with full and GA this time.

I applied in Round 3. Submitted my application on March 1st 2023. No update as of yet. I mailed the admission office and they said that the application is still being reviewed. But I think it is a generic line, probably something they say to every candidate. It is very much possible that I am already rejected. Probably would know by 10th April. I don't have high hopes for being invited to interview. It has already been 20 days since I submitted my application.

I don't think so. But the decision release date for Round 3 is 10th April and they haven't invited for interview yet so I feel like it is a rejection.

Got it. It is less than a couple of weeks for the final decisions. It would be hard to get an invite and then finish it and then get a decision by April 10th but I have seen a few instances of it before.
