I think the article says 'men' because the sample group was a group of young male army inductees.

Probably because they are more "responsible".
Don't know about other places, but India the elder kid is expected to be responsible! :)

Am the only child. Never regretted this. Have a lot of cousins.

But I would like to have more than one child, so as "not to put all the eggs in one basket". Yeah, I am a cynical SOB who sees kids as a kind of long-term investments similar to MBA.

I skimmed it quickly. Didn't it say the first born , on average, has an IQ of 3 pts more than the second born.

3 pts?

Take it from someone with a bachelor's in psych, most of this rubbish and conversation fodder.

i just polled my mistake there is no category for me.I am the 8th of 21 kids.Although i am the eldest son.
