1>x>10
2>y<3

What should the answer be?

should not it be the other way around 1<x<10, i answered assuming this not the one on the statment(stem). is not it a typo

D.

in the second statement, is it greater and equal or just greater.

If x and y are prime numbers, is y(x-3) odd?

1. x>10
2. y<3

i guess if the question were posted as above, it would make more sense and i believe i am not changing the question.

D.

1: x is odd and x-3 is even. so irrespective of y, y(x-3) is even.
2: y is even, no matter the value of x, y(x-3) is even.

I think this explanation is simple, clear, and correct :)!
