I am working on Haas as well. I am done with polishing it....working on filling out the details in the online app.

I have also started with Ross essays. I am glad that I can borrow heavily from my Haas essays.

After that, it will be Kellogg to finish my app season.

The next 2 weeks will be tense....waiting to hear from ISB (Indian school) next Friday and Tepper (Dec 21st).

At this point, all I care about is an admit somewhere ! My wife gets irritated at the mention of the "Essay" word.

Good luck to ye' all.

Absolute ZERO motivation! Guess I pushed myself way too much for R1 and the break of ~1 month did me no good either!

I am looking at Ross / UCLA for R2 and try to get in a Chic app if possible - Oh well, I havn even started with my essays!

I feel your pain grad_mba... though you did way more apps than I in the first round. I think Kellogg is going to be pushed to next weekend, if it happens...

I am in the same boat. After one month of not working on applications, I have lost the momentum. Trying to slowly get back to it now. Still need to decide which schools to apply to other than Chicago GSB for R2. Also waiting on results from LBS to see if I have at least one admit after a R1 full of misery.

After all that sagely wisdom about how no swadesi Gclubber has gotten into a UE, I am going against my own instincts and throwing my turban in the maidan for Chicago GSB and Wharton. Also apping to UCLA.

UCLA and Wharton are done. Chic in progress. My chic essays positively suck right now!!!

Well I am really keen on getting in somewhere by next year. So I am throwing the kitchen sink at a whole list of schools.

So my R2 list is as follows

Wharton(Did most essays for 1st round but couldnt submit on time)
Chicago(1st draft)
MIT Sloan(1st draft)
Darden (1st draft)
Cornell(Not yet started)

zero progress on Kellogg, other than I've thrown all my ideas together for each essay. Other than that, all the application parts and recs are done. Just essays.

with less than 12 days to go, I still have 5 more essays to work on.
It is hard to concentrate without receiving any invites from the schools I applied in R1. :(

(Deadline in brackets)
Stanford, Kellogg Round 2 submitted

HKUST (15th Dec), NUS(31st Dec) R1 submitted

Cornell Rd 3 submitted

Maybe i hurried mine a bit. I started my applications on Nov 18th, and targetted last weekend (Dec 16th) to get them all finished. Stanford, the final one, was submitted on Monday.

However, unlike you guys, I only made 1 draft :o

Fortunately for me, I was accepted in one of my backup schools (Manchester). I will happily post up my essays if someone tells me where i can do it :o (minus deletion for personal information). So you can really see how crap they are :-D

I am done with all of my essays and the app forms are filled out. All I am really waiting for now is one recommender, who is making me very nervous.

Not sure if this is the right thread...but thought I would ask anyway. Does anyone have any experience using a professional essay editing service (Essay Edge). I have mixed feelings about it, as I feel my essays are in pretty good shape...but I'm working on my last school and want to be sure that my essays are in prime shape so I get into at least one school.

Just looking for pros and cons for this type of service. Thanks in advance!

My "professional editing service" was my boy-friend  so I can't say much about Essay Edge. My advice, however, is the following: instead of paying hundreds of dollars to some company, I would ask one of your friends/parents/coworkers (if you are comfortable with that) to review your essays for free. More often than not, people who know you well will be able to provide better advice than strangers from an editing service. Just my 2 cents...

Yale: just need to click the submit button and make my recommender submit his reco.
Darden: have to complete a few final touches and off my essays go. Darden essays were the hardest for me to write by far.
Chicago: drafts of essays 1 and 3 completed; I am actually happy with my ppt presentation. Essay 2 - stuck!
