Thanks dude.

I scored b/w 39-45 on practice tests the 2nd time round; the first time round my scores were the same as yours. The error log and flashcards really helped me take my verbal to the next level. I went over my mistakes over and over to really get to the core of each problem. Get your hands on Spidey's Notes if you already haven't and use that as a start. Also, as I mentioned, check out https://www.manhattangmat.com/forums/off ... s-f29.html --> this was a great help.

For RC and CR I followed Kaplan strategies religiously. Reading the CR and taking notes worked out quite well for me. Though you spend a greater amount of time reading the passage this way, you make up for it because it takes lesser time to answer the questions.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Excellent,

I had planned to take the test on 12th Jan but around 5th Jan I decided that I wasn't ready for the 12th.

After putting in about a month, I still think I can't manage to go beyond 600.

I have already spent a lot on other books KAPLAN, PR, OG and now OG supplements, but do you recommend MR QUANT book?

I planned to take the test early Feb, but I still fear that I would have to postpone again.

BTW, I have been taking OG QUANT and scored around 85%. From your post I feel it doesn't mean anything. :(

Hey buddy:

All the books that you mention teach you the very basics of GMAT. If you want to take your score a few notches higher then I would suggest re-hashing your prep. strategy. You need to raise the bar for yourself, which all the books that you mention set too low. Your 85% on OG surely means something - it means that you're comfortable with basic stuff & that now you need to move on to more advanced stuff. You really don't need to spend more $. As I mentioned in my post above, this forum should really help kick your butt into gear. How actively do you participate here? Do you time yourself on each question? Are you keeping a track of your errors?

Of course, all the above depends on the score you're targeting...
