If anyone needs the questions i had compiled, let me know.

That woud definitely be helpful. Maybe you can post it in the board, or compile it with Rhyme's guide? Thank you for suggesting!

pandeyrav, was this an alumni interview or an adcom one on-campus?

good luck.

This was an alumni interview. He matriculated JD-MBA in 2005.

I thought I bombed my interview and I ended up getting in - so either the interview didn't matter that much or they were looking for things that I wasn't using to gauge a "good" interview. The lesson is that you have no idea what things they are looking to put on that sheet (my interviewer never seemed satisfied and kept digging... I think its just the Kellogg methodology for interviews).

Regardless, I wouldn't be too bummed if I were you. Your interview sheet is only one piece of paper in your file and for all you know that sheet looks great.

don't worry too much Pan... I felt like my interview was pretty poor too, forgetting to mention a bunch of things, but the interviewer seemed to be nice about it. I didn't get asked the GMAT thing though, so go figure.

I hope we both get in...

yeah it is a tough one. it should show some kind of conflict of interest between you and your client or you and your employer or partner companies or between your employer and your company where you might be caught in the middle... something along those lines.

FYI, I just called admission regarding a missing piece in my application. They told me that they were totally underwater with applications and that they would be waiving a lot of people from the interview... I am wondering whether it si a good sign or not if you get a waiver

Anyone know if Kellogg holds some spots for Round 3 applicants? I've heard of some programs that have a few dedicated spots open for R3 applicants. Just curious if Kellogg does anything like this. I'm going to apply for the 1Y program but obviously a bit late in the app process. Thanks!

I'm pretty sure all schools will keep some spots open for Round 3, otherwise there's no point in them having a R3, right?

With that said, the word out there is about 10% spots left for R3 applicants, and those are generally reserved for extraordinary or underrepresented minorities. If you're applying R3, you should have a very very strong profile or a very unusual one.

Still early days for R2 decisions, I would presume.
Most of us are still to finish interviews...although Kry finished his.
I would think Mid-Feb would be the earliest when we would hear some news.

It was about 5 weeks for me so mid feb is probably when they will start trickling out. Though if R2 volume is way up you never know how that could play into things.

About 5 weeks after my interview for me too (I interviewed after the application deadline R1, first week of Nov)
