Is one's status supposed to change after the interviewer submits his/her assessment? My status says "All the required elements of your application are complete." and goes on to say "If your interview has been completed, the application has been submitted for review to the admissions committee. If your interview has not been conducted, the application will be submitted to the admissions committee upon completion of the interview. "

Basically how do you know whether the interviewer has submitted the assessment?

My interview took place off-campus with an adcom associate director and the whole experience was professional. She asked a list of standard questions that you can reference from any database (e.g., clearadmit wiki). Also, she took notes after I answered every question.

List of questions from what I remember:

Why UG major?
Walk me through your resume.
Why MBA?
Why Kellogg?
How will you contribute to Kellogg's community?
Tell me your strengths and weaknesses?
Anything else you'd like to share?

I wouldn't worry too much about the interview. Don't sound like you're rehearsing your answers and take a conversational approach into the interview.

Went well i thought. Had the ultimate poker faced guy in the world, but managed to make him smile and laugh a couple of times. After he smiled or laughed... straight back to poker face

One thing i noticed, is most of the Japanese who were interviewed appeared to be interviewed in Japanese. Don`t know if its a policy to talk in the most comfortable common language, or whether they use it to garner English speaking fluency? But from the people i saw, knowledge transfer was more important than checking English fluency.

What are your short and long term plans, why mba?
Why Kellogg?
.. some questions related to my current role.
What makes a good leader?
Describe a challenging team situation and how you handled it?
How would you contribute to Kellogs diversity?
what do you think is the weakest part of your application?
