Ahh...ok. Maybe I'll hold off until I have decided which school it'll be, although I'm leaning Kellogg at this point.

You have to join the NW network first then join the group. That was the only way to make sure it was admitted students, also make sure that the people in the group are almost definitely going to Kellogg.

I never figured out how to join the Kellogg Facebook page... I'll try that tonight when I get home from work. Is has to be with our Kellogg address, right River?

No kidding! My head's spinning tonight - I'm extremely lucky to be able to make such a decision. I definitely am looking forward to DAK and to MIT's admit weekend so that I can sort this out somehow. I really love both programs - so its going to be difficult. Will probably end up coming down to where I feel most comfortable with the people I meet at each school.

Hi!

My interview for Kellogg is scheduled for afternoon of the 8th Feb, in London. Not sure if this helps, but friend who's currently at Kellogg looked up his details on their alumni database. As I result I now know when he graduated, what his major was, the company that he now works for, and his job title - every bit of info helps! This is probably standard practice for you guys, but I thought that I'd mention it!

MBTC, there are usually chats during the weekend. Sundays are the normal day but with the superbowl that probably wont happen. Usually there are 2 or 3 of us Kellogg admits on there. Probably the easiest place to catch us for a chat. Stop by in the evenings and look for posts on chats.

Adcom waived my interview today (I hope they did it before reading my app)...

The email starts 'Due to these circumstances...' What circumstances?? Guess it's just the app volume...They assured me this will not effect my app and said I do not need to do anything.

I have a decent profile, but did not do a great Kellogg app, so was not too bullish on a K admit...however, disappointed that I don't get to practice interview skills before W and GSB

Also, I live in Richmond, VA...2hrs away from DC...Can't believe they cannot find a alumni around here for me :roll:

I interviewed at Kellogg on Monday (the 28th). Extremely friendly Adcom and straightforward questions (though they did ask me for two weaknesses both overall and as a leader).

Kind of odd that waived an interview in the US- thought that this is usually the problem internationally.

ujjib- you might want to reach out to them and schedule an on campus interview maybe?

About the same number of applicants in R2 as R1 now. We had 9 admits in R1, so hopefully R2 has as much success. Last year R2 actually did much better than R1, so that may bode well for you guys.

Dosa, just found out that another richmond friend got a Kellog interview waiver this morning...so, guess it's just the location..

Well, atleast my app is ready for review right now (while adcom may be waiting for interviews and interview results on some other applications)..if i do not get a phone interview request in the next 2 weeks, then i know it's a ding..

They only load up alums with a set number of interviews. There probably arent as many alums in DC as you think. They also may not think to have you interview 2 hours away. I live an hour north of boston and I interviewed where I live, its a small city and probably only has one alum.
