Kelloggs apps were either late july or early august. They were almost identical to the previous year though...just the options for the 4th essay changed (there used to be more but they didnt add any new ones). Kelloggs from this year would probably be pretty safe to get a head start on...they also are one of the best sets since they are very complete so you can use a lot for other schools.

Thanks RR- What kind of approach did you use in "managing" the theme in your rec letters? NW keeps referring to some kind of "survey" but I haven't dug deeply into it yet.
I've been thinking about what I want my main themes to be, but am trying not to be too distracted as I do plan on taking the GMAT again. (Taking off the rest of this week though since I took the test on Tuesday! I deserve it!)

ha.. so my interview went for almost an hour and a half. I think I did very well but I am not too sure. Couple of mistakes: Forgot to take my studs out before the interview.. hmm.. and mentioned Duke when I shouldn't have mentioned it..

I got a very friendly vibe - very coversation like.. ha.. i guess i can't do anything anymore.. Just pray!

Question to you Kellogg admits:

Does Kellogg give merit-based scholarships when you get accepted? Has anyone heard anything regarding that? The reason I ask is that for Kellogg to sway me away from Haas, they need to tell me if I get any scholarship at all before I have to matriculate at Haas (4/15). I heard something from another Kellogg R1 admit that Kellogg makes you submit a separate financial aid and merit scholarship application before they grant any awards. Is that true?

Thanks for any guidance you may have on this issue!

I read either on here or on someone's blog that the school called them with a generous scholarship. However, in order to be considered for scholarships, one has to submit a cursory one page form (i find it kinda weird). No idea when they're actually offered.

I just got my W2 statement. Financial aid is going to hurt next year.

yeah... I'm waiting for all my forms to fill out my taxes before doing the FAFSA. After knowing how hard it is to get the subsidized loans, I gave up on worrying about my bank account balances.

But lately stupid things have been breaking left and right, costing me lots of $$ I should be saving... sunglasses, car stuff, computer, etc...
