Hi everyone,
Had my HBS interview this week. Was very similar to previous interview experiences with the sole exception that the questions we much more tailored to my personal background and application. No big surprises though. Was not an abrasive interview at all - my interviewer was very nice. Questions were fairly straightforward - focused on me explaining some of my reasoning to decisions I've made (why did I choose my job, my majors, what do you think about this topic, what is the most meaningful trip you've been on, whats your greatest development need, etc.). Closest thing to an "out of left field" question was "What was the last book you've read?" Probably, given my science/economics background, wanted to make sure I had a softer side as well.
Interview was on-campus, and as expected the interview held to their 30 minute time line.
I think it went well - but as with any b-school interview, you never know, and you never know what they're looking for. The waiting game continues - I'll know what HBS thinks on March 26th.
