Hi, everyone.
Took the test today and ended 590
I was preparing since December (although making the break in the holidays) and studied EVEYR DAY the whole February.
CAT results aside from Kaplan were encouraging. I scored
GMATPrep 1 730 (don't remember QV)
GMATPrep 2 690 Q47V38
GMATPrep 3 660 Q43V38
GMATPrep 4 710 Q49V38
PowerPrep 1 640 Q47V31
PowerPrep 2 610 Q48V26
Kaplan tests were ranging from 520 to 590 but I was said that they shouldn't be relied on...
I was actually aiming 700 and thought that it was quite possible. However, when the 590 came I felt like in the cold shower brrrrr....
I came to the centre quite confident, the actual GMAT interface was same as GMATPrep and the room rather convenient. Quickly passed through the AWAs (although lost some nerves at Issue A. because of lack of time) and moved to Q. Q was like I expected it to be and I scored it 46 which is not critical to my mind.
Then the turn came to Verbal. Frankly, the tasks didn't seem hard to me except for RC and that seemed rather suspicious. I regulary hit 70-80% correct on RC and around 80% on CR and SC. I was very confident about my Q answers except for RC. When V 25 came I was just astonished, nothing else.
I don't know what to do now. I just can't imagine how I can improve my Q.
Has anyone experienced the same? I actually think of retaking the exam in a month. Is it worth? What are the the suggestions?
Any input will be appreciated...
