Low GMAT

Okay. It seems everyone has extremely high gmat scores in here. Unfortunately, I am no GMAT fan. Ive done it twice and my highest score was 440. Maybe I needed to prepare more but I doubt I would get a 700.
I'm on average a good student. My cummulative GPA was a 0.01 short from honors. I have four years experience working with an international organization. I'm well travelled and I have good recommendation letters.
My question is, is it possible for me to get accepted with my poor GMAT scores? Am I likely to be given conditional acceptance or my application will be thrown away all together?
I seriously have no energy of retaking the GMAT and time isnt on my side.
ps. Im not looking into any of the business schools ranked in financial times, the economist or USNEws but the least I can give myself is an AACSB accreditation. Does any one know any schools which might likely give me a shot? Or the more important question is, do I really have a shot?
Thanks guys, in advance.
I forgot, I was also a club starter and leader while in college
