Time management is important for most of us mortals, unless you are a stud set up to get 800!

First 5-10 questions are important and so are the last few. Move on to next question once you know this question is not your type and will take you forever. Don't ever panic in the test, its just a test. Dress in layers so you can adjust to a comfortable level. Have some snacks and liquid with you. Most importanly have a confidence but that does not translate to being cocky...

sorry for the late post . Net not working and...

short story of my exam day :

earlier night saw italy losing to spain ..

then slept at 3 o clock in night
woke up at 9:30

my slot was 1:00
reached centre at 12:00
test started before scheduled time ... at 12:30

awa was cool
my argument topic was ...

" Largo company which sells pianos earlier used to sell digital pianos carefully hanidcrafted.....used by leading concert pianist . The official from Largo pianist company states that the allegro piano company which has started selleing inexpensive pianos and hence reduced the Largo profit .... so the Largo should launch a new series of pianos with a broad price range .This will help the Largo company increase its sales as well as outsell allegro . This will also help to attract the earlier customers since they will attach themselves to the name of Largo ."

neede to analyse ths argument --- not a very diffcult one ....wrote around 6 paragraphs pasage ...used the structure described .

The issue was " Businesses and organizations todays have overemphasized the importance of team in the todays working environment , while it is the individual who carries out most of the work ..."

not much difficulty in writing the importance of a team...gave some examples too .


expecting around 5 in AWA .

then had a break of 10 min .....then came maths..was doing well...encountered some good DS q , didn't guessed much ..but faced difficulty in some questions and was not sure about them . The last q was the most difficult , Was a DS involving some error calculations , the error percentage given by 100|e-a| / a and was given the Total revenue and revenue from a single product and required to tell that the actual revenue was atleat 20 % withing the range of estimated one .

Encountered 2 questions in maths which i have already seen .

Then came english , had a break of 10 min..went for loo...
started with SC , Sc , Sc CR CR CR RC .....initially i gave more time to q but then the tie started runnign tension started building up ,, rushed thru a passage , that hit my confidence . then after around 30 min felt the need to go to pee ... but had a tight situation relative to number of q left ....so tried to control myself ..and went on....i think this hitted me in some q .....ended the question..saw the score....

710 , 50 ,35

was astonished....this was my second attempt..prepared for 3 months...did some things wrong but not much..was expecting +20 .... +30 think that pee hitted me...hmm ...710..not bad...ut not good too...

need some advise guys for application process...can you point me to some useful threads... ?

Suggestionas and feedbacks welcome...

one more thing..saw two or three q in maths and a passage in RC which i believe have seen during practise....was it luck..or it happens...?

You've seen some of the questions? I didn't encounter any OG11 questions on my test. Perhaps they were just similar to ones you've done before? Weird...

710 is a great score! It always amazes me when people get great scores and still think the scores are "not too good". Perhaps compared to what you think your own potential is, but for schools and compared to the general applicant pool, its great! CONGRATS!

Actually i know its a good scor...but i know that its not a great score...but in the end all it matters is to get into a school of your choice...so adding this score to my profile it does not add any value to it....my profile is such that 720+ would have added value to my profile and 690- would have decresed the value of my profile...and 710 does not do any...this was the reason behidn my post...
