Hey Folks -

A lot of application provide space to describe your responsibilities at work. How do you usually go about utilizing this space given that you are required to submit your resume as well? Is a lot of what you talk about redundant between the two?

I pretty much used the same for both. I may have elaborated the content in apps a little more than the apps as the app provided more space.

same as above - I used the same information for both the resume and the app..

ditto. that's what the adcoms are essentially expecting. the only reason they ask you to fill out your work history on the application, in addition to including a resume, is that the work history tells them a bit more about your salary progression, hours worked and number of people supervised.
