660, Quant - 48 and verbal 33

Hi there buddies,

Cracked GMAT, a day back with 660, Quant : 48 and Verbal 33. Well, I am really bewildered with the score. In the limelight of 700's, 660 may seems Good score and not Best but what ever I have waded from 570, last experience, to 660, latest experience.
I am targeting at top Finance Schools, lets see at where i gonna lend up.

By the way, I am thankful to the whole gmat-club community and I would surely helpful to all my mates. Please post your comment here and Oblige.

Congratz Dharmin. You have come a long way buddy. I'm sure you can do even better otherwise, 660 can get you into a good finance school for sure. What were your practice scores like and :btw have you considered the CFA? :)

Hey Paul,
Nice to c u man. I am heratily thankful for all your posts, replies and discussions.
On the exam day i was totally exhausted because the last 2/3 nights of that day i couldnt sleep well and proper - just 3/5 hours sleep. I would really say to all my pals here that a good sleep is necessary.
Well, I have observed that MATH become more tougher then it was last time - 4 months back. More probability problems and counting problems were there then they were earlier. The last RC of verbal section has 80 lines :shock:
Moreover, I have noticed starting of new RC trend this time - RCs are not segregated into paragraphs. Actually all Kaplan and Princeton methods take granted that there are some 2/3 paragraphs at each RC. This time i have seen not a single RC with para.

Well while practice, Princeton mocks gave me around 660 and 680 but i have more appeared for KAPLAN's and i would advise all to follow just Kaplan. Though it drag one down but prepare for the tough, which helps enormously on real day.

in the last, i am thankful to you, Preat, hard_worker_indian, Anandnk, vivek_dj and all others that i forget to mention but discussed with on gmatclub.

Another great score here. I think some people get so caught up on getting a 700+ that they forget that if you score 640-690, you are still in a very "elite" percentile & can still get into a very good school. Maybe Stanford won't think so, but other schools will recognize that.

Good luck on admissions.

thanks to reinforce my belief :)
Well, actually it really depends on your slection of universities. If one is targeting at some universities with a high gmat then one should try to get in range of those scores, there is no wayout :)

Good job- A 660 is high enough to apply to some of the very best finance schools such as Rochester.
