I would say if you simply cannot visit at any other time, it's better than nothing.

The student body is a very important part of an MBA program. You will learn a lot just from the few hours you spend hanging out with various students. You'll get a feel for the place and how well you'll fit in.

Having sat through info sessions at a few schools (Haas, Kellogg, and HBS), I wouldn't expect to learn anything that you can't find out here or on their website. If you haven't been to an area though and are undecided about applying, it's worth checking out the town and facilities. I visited a friend at Duke during their Spring Break and even though there weren't any classes or many students, I still enjoyed touring the building and seeing Durham.
