hi,

You can use this link (https://tools.businessweek.com/BSchool_Comparator/ ) to sort out schools by average GMAT, location, etc. it's interactive (use the options on the right to adjust which sections you want to see in the chart). the school rankings aren't the best or the most accurate (most people would say USnews is better), but these should give you some idea of where your score could probably make you a competitive candidate. you dont necessarily have to be higher than the average gmat score, just somewhere in the general range (i think +/- 30 points would be ok) - what does everyone else think?

Although I've not done anything spectacular in my preparations so far but would like to recommend something which I tell myself every day things don't seem to go my way!

STOP at every question, where you took things for granted! Every Question, Every Concept...! STOP getting ahead of yourself... Focus on the quality... Dont worry about the quantity or how much time it takes you to figure it out...! It may take longer but its a surefire way of be good at something...

.... soon they will come to you without having to chase them....

In the end all you need is this recipe and just make it a habit after that.

Believe in yourself!

Would probably start here: gmat-study-plan-for-gmat-novices-start-your-gmat-journey-80727.html and then build a plan to improve each of the areas: CR, RC, and SC.

Best recommended are the MGMAT Guides and PowerScore CR and PowerScore SC.
