Yeah--I had no idea there were specific formats for each school...The apps say just upload your resume...

How did I miss that? Can anyone provide more information?

Re: Changing Resume format for each school [#permalink]
well each school has a preferred format that all their students are expected to use. for example, i once found a link to Tuck's resume book, which contained all their 1st and 2nd year students' resumes. the format was a lot cleaner and simpler than my existing resume format, so i just modeled mine after their school's format.

they don't necessarily expect you the applicant to use their format, nor do i think it matters (and others on the thread agree). however i'd still like to see HBS' format to see how it differs from Tuck's, et al. my limited searching earlier led to a dead end

edit - thanks for that link pauly

Oh so it's mostly the resume format they use when their matriculated students are actually applying to jobs/going through recruiting. I get it.

At this point, I don't have the time to focus on redoing my resume--and besides, I used the formatting from the resume of someone who went to Tuck

Darden had a pretty nice format too. Its on here somewhere from the Finance Club and the PE Club. Also, if you go to the leadership of the club's webpages for Fuqua, it has resumes in Word.
