Hello,
I would rapidly present myself: my name is Nicola Lo Surdo, I come from Italy and I have just had my GMAT exam with a score of 620 Q45 V30. As I have already attended a Veritas Preparation Course and I have continued studying on Manhattan material by myself, I believe that I well comprehended all the fundamentals of the GMAT both for the quantitative and for the verbal section. I also did several CATS simulations before taking the REAL TEST: 6 Manhattans, 5 800.scores and the 2 official ones. As I'm aiming at a 670 plus, I'm disappointed with my score, specifically with the verbal section that I want to improve substantially. I have already studied 3 months........
Before getting enrolled in a Knewton course I would need to know if the course could be really, really useful for me:
1) Is the preparation course adaptive to my needs? I do not want to find myself stucked again in basic concepts or a general presentation of the test. At this stage I need to have a person and a system that guide me in the right direction. I would need an
error log, questions provided as a response to my weak points, statistics about my improvement, etc. So, Is there a person with whom I can continually mail in order to understand what to do, how much time to study, what direction to take? I want to anticipate that the english is my weak point. I have never studied in an english institution and I have been studying english since one year. Before that I had almost never studied it (Pre-intermediate level).
2) Is my situation common to Knewton? Is Knewton you able to handle it and help me raise my score of at least 50 points? What is the range score with which it works more?;
3) If I did not understand badly, to have the money back guarantee I should attend all the online classes and do the homework assigned. However, by doing so, I would feel like to attend another Veritas Preparation Course, a standardized learning. I want to repeat that I really need, need a personalized learning and do not want to repeat the basic concepts. I need to understand how to better approach to the verbal section during the exam, what strategy better suits me.
THANKSSSS
