700 on MGMAT CAT twice. Panic mode?

700 on MGMAT CAT twice. Panic mode? [#permalink] New post   27 Sep 2010, 16:09
I've gotten a 700 twice on the manhattan GMAT CAT exams. My real GMAT is on october 23rd, and my goal is 750, so i'm starting to get very concerned. Verbal i'm getting around 93%, which is alright, but i'm getting absolutely slaughtered in quant (low 70's). I feel like given my humanities background, getting above 80% in quant is absolutely necessary. Any advice on ways to improve would be greatly appreciated.

MGMAT quant is tougher than the real thing

Try taking a GMAT prep test as well and see where the quant comes out

From my experience MGMAT quant is very different than the quant on the actual GMAT. I suggest taking a GMATPrep CAT to get a better idea on where you stand.

try the diagnostics since they are more accurate.

Don't panic just revise your notes and keep on practicing from official guides. You'll do good on real GMAT. Good luck mate and keep us update about your progress.

Yeah, you have almost a month to go. Take one of the GMATprep test and see where you stand.

Panic mode is for someone who is on the low 600s and has less than one month to go.
