I wouldn't hold my breath. They didn't take anyone off the waitlist last year, and I doubt they will take more then a few this year. The facebook page already has 232 members, and while I am sure a few people will pass on Tuck this year, I doubt you will see 20 people coming off the waitlist. Keep in mind there should be some carry overs from last year.

Just to add here. I got an update from admissions today. Said they did not see any weaknesses in my application and that they had many qualified applicants this year. Mentioned they typically take waitlist applicants in June/July/early August time frame.

Did you get this update via email? Also, did they assign you a waitlist manager to whom you may interact with?

That's great news. It sounds as if they are reaching out to those folks whom have been waitlisted and will be providing feedback in the coming days based on feedback from this thread and the other Tuck thread.

Yes, I received an email and they assigned me a wait list manager. One I had met actually at a coffee with Tuck session.

Thanks SalarymanJ and congrats on getting into both Stern and Ross. Is Tuck your #1 choice?

Yes originally Tuck was my number one choice. But the cash from NYU complicates things for me considerably since basically my first year is paid for. For my career goals NYU would be the better choice I think, but I like the community and lifestyle at Tuck. Plus I wanted to escape the city for a while since I will probably live in large cities until I retire.

Stern with 1 year paid for is REALLY hard to turn down - especially if NY (or a big city) is where you intend on being afterwards. Congrats!

Anyone else receive feedback from adcom. According to my automated reply from the waitlist (november round applicant), we are supposed to have heard something by March 30, which is today.

Nothing yet. I wonder how long it will be until we all receive any type of feedback.

Hi folks,

I forfeited my spot in the Class of 2013. Good luck on your waitlist, I hope that this opens a spot for one of you.

Same boat here. The FB group already has about ~250 members, and I think people only join when they are almost convinced on going. What do you guys think? Any thoughts or new info?

I also did not receive any communication since the waitlist email.

Should I call Tuck to ask about about my waitlist manager ?

I am yet to receive any contact either. Perhaps they are just working through the list. I think we're OK.
