Its hard to tell... I personally know 3 people accepted in round 2 that turned down Tuck... so there will be some people that decide to turn Tuck down, the question is will Tuck take people off the Waitlist or will Tuck accept more people in round 3... I mean there are many possible actions that Tuck could take, and I doubt anyone except admissions knows for sure....

Just to add more color, I'm a Tuck admit and am enrolling. At the ASW, the dean said 219 have already put down their deposits. After ASW, I personally know 3 people from NY that I met at ASW that put down their deposits. This is even before they made R3 choices. Words among NYC tuck admits are that we highly suspect that there may be another over enrollment this year. I may be completely wrong, but just wanted to throw in my two cents. This was probably the most competitive year for Tuck because you have 20~30 deferred people from last year that's taking up potential acceptances and last year, Tuck enjoyed pretty high yield.

Thanks for the inputs. I agree that this did sound like the most competive year to apply to Tuck. I guess I was hoping that they were going to be a lot more cautious this year in handing out admits, which would in theory allow them to accept more people off of the WL. I do have a feeling that there will be a handful of people coming off the WL. It would be interesting to find out how many people are still on the WL. I assume more than 100.
