The chance that you roll a six on any roll is the same, it has nothing to do with what you rolled beforehand. So what we really need is the chance of rolling six for the die, which is likely 1/6.

Statement 1:
The chance is 1/6, sufficient.

Statement 2:
Doesn't tell us anything about the die itself, insufficient.
