We are asked for the number of 360 rotations of the wheel:

Statement A: This gives us the time, but we don't know anything about the size of the wheel => Insuff.

Statement B: We know how many times the wheel spinned per minute, but we don't know anything about the time it took

Combined: We know 3 min. for the whole trip and 20 spins per minute so 60 for the entire trip Suff. => C

hello, thank you for the information, however could you please explain the formulas associated as well I think I am missing something, thank you for replying !

Hi for this particular problem you don't need any formulas, just use logic as described before. Formulas would be necessary if we need to calculate the circumference of the wheel (C=2πr) or the speed of the wheel. Both are not necessary to solve this particular problem.
