What is the value of the positive integer N?

(1) N is a multiple of 2, 3, and 6.

(2) 30 < N < 70

(1) N is a multiple of 2, 3, 6 which means N is also a multiple of the LCM of 2, 3, 6 - which is 6. So this statement tells us that N is a multiple of 6. But there is no unique value because nothing else is given. So not sufficient.

(2) N lies between 30 and 70, so it can still take 39 different values from 31, 32,... to 69. So not sufficient.

Combining the two statements, N is a multiple of 6 lying between 30 and 70. But still N could take many values like 36, 42, 48, 54, 60, 66. So not sufficient to determine a unique value of N.

Hence E answer
