Yes - school of my dreams

Consultant: Poonam Tandon

I am very thankful to Poonam as I got admitted to my dream school. I had a wonderful journey with her throughout my application process.
After I was done with my GMAT, I spent at least 100 hours reading the reviews of various admission consultant services. I finally decided to sign up for a multiple schools package with Poonam because she is an AIGAC certified consultant whereas most of the other consultants are not. Pricing is also very reasonable compared to the other consultant firms. Most importantly, her success rate is on the higher side.
Initially, we both had telephonic and skype calls to brainstorm stories for essays (goals, accomplishments , background, mistakes, setback culture shock etc.) so that we would be ready for the right content when the schools would release essay questions. She sent me a framework/outline for every single essay we worked on that helped me put together my first drafts. With each edit she sent me, the essays kept getting better and better, and I was able to submit my best essays for every school. The essays always carried the right content to the essay prompts. Her guidelines and suggestions not only helped me choose the right content but also helped me find my own voice. I was glad that she never compromised on the content to get the allowed word-limit. The sentence structure was excellent and apt to the content. She always provided better words to showcase the content of my essays. Her editing was so perfect that she never even missed a punctuation mark: comma, semicolon, and colon etc. She perfectly followed the turn-around time ( 24-48 hours) and followed the best practice by informing me about her schedule in advance .
Poonam’s kindness and her dedication to work are exemplary. For one of my schools, I was just about to submit the application when I found out that it needed one extra essay about which I didn’t know earlier. It was a shocker for me because I had only 2 days left before the deadline. At that time, Poonam was about to board a flight to go on a one week vacation as per the schedule she had already informed me weeks in advance. Even during that crunch situation, she had sent me the edited essay from the airport because of which I was able to submit the application on time. This speaks a ton about her dedication towards her work and her concern for her students.
I am very thankful to Poonam as I got admitted to my dream school. I had a wonderful journey with her throughout my application process. Apart from essay writing, I have learned many things from her such as punctuality, following the schedule, loving own work etc. I will implement these qualities in my daily life and strive to become a better person.
I recommend Poonam to everyone who is very much willingly to have a bright future and an MBA admission.

Although I had already written most of essays and was confident that they were good, I decided to sign up for a single essay review service so as to double check the quality of my work. I signed up for myEssayReview because it was highly rated at GMAT Club, and because it offered very competitive pricing for a one essay review. After completing the review process with Poonam for this essay, I realized that she helped me to elevate the quality of my essay to an entirely new level! As a result, I decided to sign up to essay review to six schools I applied as well as résumé review. Here is my feedback on my experience of working with Poonam:

Understands you as a person: Poonam was interested in understanding my whole story as an applicant and as a person, though I had initially just signed up for a one essay review. In addition, I could also understand her background and method of working, which helped us to work productively while not losing sight of my goals and characteristics. She provided me valuable advice on my school selection, application strategy, time management, and even résumé improvements, all of which were not part of the scope of my original service hired.

Delivers a Clear Sentence Structure: Poonam demonstrated that my first drafts had stories with unnatural flow, frequently lacking a clear link between the story and the point I was trying to make. Once we identified the point, then we discussed on how each part of the example was supporting the point. This method was vital not only to stay focused on my key messages but also to trim side arguments and reach the tight word limits. Poonam used an effective and elegant word choice - not overly sophisticated vocabulary. As a non-native speaker, I found it so helpful because I wouldn´t be comfortable with words that I would never write on my essays.

Effective Edits: Effective editing/trimming of essays is one of Poonam’s main strengths. I frequently sent her very large essays thinking, there is no way to achieve the allowed word-limit – but she consistently delivered on the word limit! In addition, I found helpful that she offered my choices on what contents to sacrifice or details to omit, so that I was able to consciously evaluate the trade offs and make choices that maintained the essence of my examples.

Results speak for themselves! In the end, I was interviewed to all of the six schools I applied, admitted to four of them (Kellogg, Berkeley-Haas, Yale SOM and UCLA Anderson) and waitlisted at Stanford GSB. Plus, three of them offered me substantial scholarships! Kellogg-70K scholarship (Donald Jacobs scholarship), Yale SOM - 20k scholarship , UCLA Anderson -70k scholarship. Now I’m heading to Kellogg with scholarship! I had never imagined I would be so successful. Without doubt, Poonam has contributed substantially!

Beyond being admitted to my dream school with scholarship, I gained a lot from working with Poonam. I improved my writing and critical thinking abilities, and also had a great time working with Poonam. Thank you Poonam for your guidance.

I chose to subscribe service of myEssayReview because I wanted to apply to my chosen universities for Master’s program. Since I was changing careers, I needed to present a convincing story. I went through several reviews and decided to sign-up because it’s a single person dedicated service. I knew that it will be easier to communicate my ideas with Poonam since she has years of experience in this trade.

The 1 hour skype session we had was very fruitful since it helped me figure out my story much better and develop an engaging statement of purpose. By the look of my CV and personal statement, Poonam very well understood the areas of improvement and suggested how to make changes to both CV and statement.

Apart from valuable suggestions on the storyline and structure, she did an excellent job with editing. The First draft that I submitted had several fragments and the sentences didn’t flow very well. She corrected them; she also did a great job in reducing the word limits yet keeping the stories sensible. Throughout the process, Poonam very well handled all my queries/ doubts via email. I had all my responses for emails as well as for edited drafts within a day’s time.

I am accepted into Masters in Real Estate Program at Cass and Masters in Construction Economics and Management at UCL. Thanks Poonam for your help.

I Joined up With MyEssayReview for the Summer 2017 Applications. I did a very wide assessment of consultants and finalized with myEssayReview because I felt Poonam understood me very well. Even after a month of our first skype call of 10 minutes she remembered my details. I was very impressed by this fact that she remembered the entire details of a free trial call also.
My target schools were not clear at first but after the 1 hour skype call that I had with Poonam Tandon, i was very clear about my future approach.
She not only understood my profile but also gave me a very true assessment about my chances at various target schools.
She insisted that I re-take my Gmat (660 V35 Q49) as it was the only weak link in my application, but I did not have the time to prepare for GMAT again.
As the application process went on her astute attention to detail and brilliant editing skills impressed me a lot. I was very confident that I had taken the correct decision by working with her.
Post the application process she guided me with the interviews as well.
In the end the weak link mentioned by her turned to be the achilles heel in my application as I failed to convert my interview calls from Krannert and Jones due to my low GMAT score.
It was only due to her guidance and help that even with such a low score I was able to get interview calls from two of the best business colleges. Throughout the application process she was very helpful. She understood my life experiences and was very ruthless about them as to what makes the cut for a good application story and what does not.
Any prospective applicant looking for a consultant with personal attention and personal guidance should definitely contact Poonam Tandon at myEssayReview.

My wife came across myEssayReview on gmatclub. After reading Poonam's reviews and after comparing the package with the ones offered elsewhere, I signed up for her services.

You typically get a one-on-one session with Poonam that was extremely valuable for me and it set up the direction for my MBA application.

Poonam understood my personal story well and she could point out the key selling points in my essays.

An added bonus is her knowledge of the Haas's program. For me, it was the key to a successful Haas application.

I was initially doubtful of the quick turn around time promised on the website. But the entire process was well organised with extremely fast turnaround times, usually within 1-2 days.

Thank you Poonam!

I have been granted admission to the Masters in Professional Accounting Program at UT. I truly believe that Poonam's assistance has been a major part which lead to my acceptance and I am truly thankful for everything she has given me.

The transformation my essay has gone through with Poonam is truly fascinating. The flow of ideas, the sentences structure, the word count, and paragraphs order, everything was enhanced in a significant notable way.

The turnaround timing was great (usually next day) and she was able to accommodate my application deadline even though I started the process a bit late.

When compared to other services, this was by far the best value for money. MyEssayReview's pricing is so affordable and their services are absolutely great!!

Poonam, thank you so much for all your help and I can't wait to come back for your help in the future

I signed up for myEssayReview after trying a professional advice from another consultant that failed to bring interview call from Oxford.
The journey started with 1-hour brainstorming session based on the material I had prepared. During this hour, I could see alarming gaps in the story I had prepared. Based on her experience, she could isolate the problem areas in my long experienced profile. Along with problems, she also provided valuable advice on forming a relevant and comprehensive account of my story.
The process from thereon was well defined and we took one document at a time, starting with resume, moving on to one essay after another. She has time-tested methodology for conducting material review that makes most of her and the client’s time. It was remarkable to see such professionalism without losing the sight of the goal and gradually moving towards that. She also helped with video pitch and ensured there is no duplication across any material. As a result, I could use the word limit to maximum advantage.
The best part with her is that she takes most of the pressure out of you so that you can think in a direction and eventually reach that near perfect application that will ensure a call from the college. In order to prepare for interview, Poonam provided valuable suggestions, deep insights on interviewer expectations and also directed to her successful students’ interview experiences.
I applied to Imperial, UK and Mannheim for MBA program, received interview call from both. Thanks to Poonam for giving necessary guidance for putting together the coherent picture of my longer work experience.
Wish you good luck and great success with MBA applicants.

Title: I applied only to one school, Kelley, and I received the admit offer last week. Thanks Poonam for all your help.

I signed up for myEssayReview because I was impressed by the positive reviews on the GMAT Club and the quick turnaround times offered by Poonam.

The 1 hour brainstorming session was very productive and eye opening since it highlighted things that I could include in my essay. Since I had only one essay of 500 words, it was challenging to fit all the required information in the essay. However, with Poonam’s expert guidance, we were able to highlight all the relevant information within the prescribed word limit. Additionally, her expert guidance highlighted the right stories, and more importantly, the content within those stories was the highlight of my application experience with her.

Word limit was the most challenging part of the application. With Poonam’s guidance and restructuring suggestions, I was able to trim down my first draft of 1500 words down to final draft of 500 words without losing any key parts of my story and message. Poonam’s qualifications and experience reflects in the services she provides. ‘Less is more is an approach I have learned working with Poonam, and I will employ this in other areas of my life, too. Using this approach, she was able to concisely summarize my essays and LOR.

I had signed up for school package, so Poonam helped me build a strong résumé and edited my letters of recommendations for grammar and structure. Apart from that, she took pains to rewrite the sentence structures wherever necessary, hence conveying the overall message in a concise and relevant manner.

Regarding turnarounds, my case was unique since I was not operating under a deadline. From the start, we had a mutual agreement of not adhering to strict 24-48 hours turnaround time. Despite this agreement, whenever I needed a quick review of something, Poonam never disappointed and provided here expert comments within the timeframe.

Soon, I am going to begin my MBA at Kelley. I am very happy with the services provided, and I would recommend myEssayReview services to the prospective applicants.

I would not recommend anyone to start so late, but I first contacted Poonam Tandon (myEssayReview) 72 hours before the deadline for the two essays and resume of one of my applications. I thought being advised by a PhD in English Literature, who loves writing, and with proven track record reviewing successful essays for top-ranked business schools was my best possible choice.

We communicated by skype and email, and I always received timely and clear answers that guided me to write more efficiently and effectively. Poonam and I discussed my personal and professional background and then she made sharp suggestions of the strongest topics to address the essay questions. As a result, I confidently chose my topics and focused on developing them. Also, Poonam gave me clear directions about format and structure, along with guidelines to ‘unleash’ my stories in a more compelling and thorough way. Finally, she edited my essays to trim them to the word limits and corrected grammatical mistakes. One of the most challenging essays we worked on was the cover letter for MIT, with only 250 words.
Poonam also helped me build a strong resume. First, she provided me with a format that made me gain more space to focus on professional accomplishments. Then, she helped me strengthen every bullet point by choosing appropriate action verbs and focus on the outcomes. Finally, with the structure she suggested, I was able to better highlight other areas such as academic accomplishments and personal interests, making a well-rounded resume.

We worked fast, with turn-arounds in less than 24 hours, so despite time constraints, we built strong essays and resume well before each deadline. I would like to mention here that New Year’s Eve was right in the middle of that short period of 72 hours before Ross deadline. I couldn’t be more grateful to Poonam as she agreed to provide her strong support and advice and turned-around much faster than me. Also, I liked that she didn’t charge extra for rush service.

Overall, it was a pleasure to work with Poonam, She not only provided me with the best possible technical advice, but she also helped me boost my confidence at a point of weakness and tiredness. I had high expectations and the results were far better than expected.

I have already received interview invite from Ross, and I am optimistic about MIT as well. I would recommend her services to everyone.

I, like most MBA applicants, was in the market for an admissions consultant. I explored another consulting service, which was great in its own right, but was over my budget especially for the service I was looking for, which was strictly essay review.

I stumbled upon myEssayReview by reading reviews on GMATClub. Based on all the good reviews, I figured I'd give myEssayReview a try. I contacted Poonam to schedule an initial assessment. During our assessment, she gathered information about my profile and gave me some recommendations on the schools I should work on first. After our assessment, I decided to go with the 2 essay review package.

One of my main takeaways from my interactions with Poonam was how quickly she reviewed and returned my essay back to me. It typically would take her 24-48 hours to follow up with me. Her edits were very thorough, helping me with my syntax, fixing grammatical errors, and helping me choose the most powerful stories and connections based on the essay prompt.

She reviewed each of my essays about three times each, each time tidying up my story and tweaking a little here and there to make sure the final draft was as perfect as possible. She carefully made sure the organization and structure of my essays flowed in a logical manner and trimmed the superfluous "fat" to make them fit the 750 word limit.

Overall, I highly recommend working with Poonam. I can only speak for her essay review services, which was exactly what I was looking for: affordable pricing and high-touch, personalized consultation.
