Okay, so my gmat is in 12 days and i'm nowhere near my target score.
I've spent a considerable amount of money on useless coaching so can't spend anymore.
The past 2 weeks i've been studying 8-10 hours/day. out of which i spend 3-4 hours thinking of 'what if scenarios'. I don't do this on purpose but its the stress.
I hadn't been able to improve beyond v30 but saw an
egmat webinar recently, i think if I look at the rules for SC again I can handle it. Same for CR.
What i need help and advice on are three things-
1) RC. Generally from what i've gathered there are two strats for RC. Skim/slow read -thoroughly. The second works better for me but its been only 4-5 days since ive practiced this. In the last mock i took i got 9/14 RC question wrong. So any advice on this. Also in general, how do I get upto v38+
2) My entire life i've despised math. So ive never been able to score above q41. scored a mere q37 today although i don't understand why veritas started me off with a 650 level question.
How do i get upto q46-48?
I'll be in my hometown for 3 weeks before going to college. My mom is a math gold medalist (ironical right) so ive decided to take her help in clearing my foundations in basics such as geometry, coordinate, probability etc.
Besides this what else do I do?
3) pls advice on time and stress management.
I've decided to meditate about 10 mins/day. The last 3 weeks ive been doing nothing but obsessing about GMAT to the point ive been seeing it in my dreams. Skipped gym, don't meet friends, go out talk to family or anyone, get irritated at everything.
I've just postponed my gmat to feb 8. take it down in one shot. My target score is upwards 680. Im gonna take a break for 2 days and start fresh with 5 hours/day for 15 days and get back to 7-8 hours before the last 30 days.
Any advice will be deeply appreciated.
