Re: 490 to 480 to 630 [#permalink]
I'm not targeting any school with a 630. I just signed up to sit again on November 30th. I'm hoping to break 700, but will be content with anything above 650.

I'd like to attend UT Austin or Darden.

Any ideas of where I can find a good study program for the GMAT?

George, if there is one thing I get-off on it’s a great underdog/perseverance story. Quite frankly, you’re on the edge of being a phenomenal one. A two-time high school drop out who scratched his way through college and has got his career off the ground – it would have been easy for you to throw in the towel years ago! But you didn’t, you kept grinding it out as others, I’m sure, probably wrote you off. You could spin your story into an eye-catching and memorable “feel good” story on your apps – with your motivation and perseverance shining through at every turn.

However, you seem to be pretty unfocused and unmotivated for studying for this thing. Which I find surprising, more surprising than having the ego to walk into this test cold and expecting to ace it.

Get serious man. Buy the MGMAT guides and the OG. Get a 3 or 4 month gameplan together to grind through the material. Stay disciplined and you will hammer this. You’ve spent years working up to this, invest a few more months and get it done!
