Let C be the cup cakes and B be the box of cookies. B = ?

St1: 2C + 15B = 27.
Possible values of B = 0 or 1. B cannot be 0 as 2C cannot be odd. So B = 1.
Sufficient.

St2: C = 6. Clearly insufficient.
