Ratio = 3X:2X

2X=15
X=7.5

Sides :22.5 and 15

Perimeter: 2(L+B)
=2(22.5+15)
=2(37.5)
=75

I also got 75.

But the question should specify that the width of the frame is negligible.

Rectangle mean 3:2 are length and breadth , Shorter breath is 3x5 = 15 , 2x5 =10 …These are just side 2 Sides , How many inches of framing material mean Perimeter of a rectangle P= 2l + 2b = 50??
D:( Silly mistake
Omgg Shorter breath mean 2x7.5 = 15 , 3x7.5 = 22.5 ...Now I got it
Forgot that 3x : 2x ... Where x can be a decimal vlaue
P = 2l + 2b = 15x2 + 22.5x2 = 75

A carpenter is building a frame for a wall painting. The painting is in the shape of a rectangle. If the sides of the rectangle are in the ratio of 3:2 and the shorter side has a length of 15 inches, how many inches of framing material does the carpenter need to frame the painting?

A. 12
B. 22 1/2
C. 37 1/2
D. 50
E. 75

Notice that we are told that the shorter side has a length of 15 inches, so 15 corresponds with 2, not 3.
