A recent United States Census Bureau report shows that there are more than three times as many households where the children and grandchildren are living in their grandparents’ home as compared to households where the grandparents are living in their children’s or grandchildren’s home.

The OA is B.

I had one question regarding A... can we count out A b/c 'Compare to' needs to be used to describe two unlike things? (i.e. in this case it's used to describe two like things - households).

as ... as

The comparison is about households.The underlined part should also begin with as and then compare households

A. as compared to households where the
as..as indicates comparison. compared is redundant

B. as there are households where the

SCs are usually down to under a minute so I only time CRs and RCs now. A typical CR takes a pathetic 2~3 minutes to solve on average, and 4 RCs can take up to 12 minutes! :cry:

Sorry, bit of clarification needed here. I meant to say that it often takes me up to 12 minutes to answer the 4 RC questions related to just one passage. Especially if it is something like the "historical relevance of antidisestablishmentarianism....blah blah .... BS~"
