The answer is E.
From (1) we simply know that Cara=Carlos and Adam is younger than both. Not Suff
From (2) we get that Donna is also younger than Carlos and Cara. But wie dont know whether Adam is the youngest or Donna.

Both together give us still no Numbers to Donna and Adam

Answer is E. From both statement we know that Cara and Carlos are the oldest among four friends. But we don't know whether Adam is older or younger than Donna

Given : Total friends = 4 nos

A, C1, C2, D

C1 = C2

Question: Who is the youngest?

St 1: C1 > A . No info about C2 and D. Insufficient

St 2: C2 > D. No info about C1 and A. Insufficient

From 1 and 2, we only know that A and D are younger than C1 and C2.

But there is no information who is younger in between A and D. Insufficient

The answer is E. From both statements we know that Cara and Carlos are the oldest among four friends, but there is no other piece of information which can help us to determine the relationship between age of Adam and donna, thus we can not tell which one is youngest from given information.

Since Carlos and Cara are the same age, we only need to know the relationship of Adam, Donna, and Carlos/Cara.

(1) C > A

We don't know D, however, INSUFFICIENT.

(2) C > D

We don't know A, however. INSUFFICIENT.

(1&2) Together, we know C > A and C > D. However, we don't know if A > D or A < D. INSUFFICIENT.

Answer is E.

Based on the given information, it is not possible to determine who among Adam, Cara, Carlos, and Donna is the youngest.
