Hi,
When I was about to graduate college, I was mostly considering Data Science programs over business schools, so I took the GRE and scored a 166 on Quant, and 166 on Verbal (I believe this came out to around a 90th percentile score). However, as an afterthought, I decided to apply for the Harvard 2+2 program and submitted the GRE in the application. Unsurprisingly (considering it's Harvard), I was rejected.
I ended up working instead of doing Data Science, and am now planning on going to business school, so I took the GMAT and got a 760 (47 Verbal, 48 Quant), which is in the 99th percentile. So, pretty significantly better than my GRE score.
However, because I applied to Harvard a few years ago, when I logged into my account they already had my GRE score in their system, and as far as I can tell there's no way to remove it.
So, should I submit the GMAT score as well? Is it looked down upon in any way to submit 2 scores like that? Will the fact that my GRE isn't quite as impressive as my GMAT hurt me in any way?
samperry54I think you should go ahead and submit your latest GMAT scores. It won't be looked down upon. As far as I know, all the business schools consider the better score among 2 or more submissions. So the fact that they still have your GRE scores should no way affect your candidature.
