It is a "funny" point you bring up that I like to talk about. After you get into HBS or Stanford or any other top 20 school, my question is usually - do you really have to go? Have a lot of people been kicked out of those 2 schools? Do you really have to waste $150K + Income = $300K to prove that you can stay in school without getting kicked out. Getting in was the hardest part and that all that counts, mostly.... feel free to disagree.

As to studying, it is not hard to bet a B in bschool (that's D basically, and if you get a B-, that means you failed).
it is different than undergrad....

Get one of those pre-mba internships and ask to stay full-time at the end of summer?

These pre-mba internships... can't really find any for caucasians. They all seem to be geared towards minority applicants?

Hmm really, no idea.

Some find it through unofficial channels, though, so maybe try calling up alumni and see if one would like to be nice to you for the summer.
